Nigerian superstars Rema and Seun Kuti are set to grace the stage at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival 2025, showcasing the richness of Afrobeat and Afropop to a global audience.
Rema, known for his chart-topping hits like Calm Down, will be making his Coachella debut, while Seun Kuti, a torchbearer of Afrobeat and son of the legendary Fela Kuti, marks a return to the festival, having made history as the first Nigerian artist to perform there in 2012.
Other African stars joining the lineup include Amaarae from Ghana, whose unique blend of Afrofusion and alternative music has gained international acclaim, and South African sensation Tyla, known for her viral hits like Water.
This lineup continues a legacy of Nigerian artists performing at Coachella. Previous performers include Mr. Eazi and Burna Boy in 2019, Ckay in 2022, and Tems earlier this year. The festival’s diverse lineup showcases the growing global influence of African music.
