The arrests were made during a raid in the Sabon Layi area, where a patrol team from the 'C' Divisional Police Headquarters seized significant evidence, including a locally-made revolver, eight rounds of live ammunition, and two motorcycle number plates.
According to Police Public Relations Officer, Ahmed Wakil, the operation led to the arrest of Suleiman Adamu, 40, who was found in possession of the stolen items.
Wakil stated that further investigation revealed the involvement of Adamu Sale, alias Dogo, 30, from Rafin Makaranta, who is suspected of committing several robberies in Zaranda village. During questioning, the suspects admitted to using the firearm in the theft of three motorcycles, which were then sold to Jibrin Mohammed, 30, of Railway Area, Bauchi.
