Comedian and media personality Nedu Wazobia, whose full name is Chinedu Ani Emmanuel, has shared his appreciation for singer Kenny Saint Brown (KSB) for her instrumental support in advancing his career.
Speaking on his podcast, Honest Bunch, shared on Instagram on Wednesday, Nedu reflected on a significant moment from 2012 that helped reshape his professional journey.
According to him, KSB attempted to reach him while he was on air, but he couldn’t answer her call until later. When he eventually returned her call, she informed him that she had shared his details with some individuals.
This gesture led to Nedu securing a major endorsement deal with MTN, one of Nigeria’s largest telecommunications companies. He explained that becoming a brand ambassador for the company was a defining moment that elevated his career to new heights.
Nedu expressed deep gratitude to KSB for the role she played, while his co-hosts on the podcast also commended her generosity and support.
He said, “Special shout-out to KSB a lot of people don’t know this and I’ve never said this before I was on radio one evening in 2012 that I was reading news and when I finished I came out of the studio and I saw a missed call from KSB, so I called back and we exchanged pleasantries and she said someone was going to call me from MTN and I should talk to them that it’s like they like me and they want to you and I’ve given them your number, that was when I became Mtn ambassador and that contract alone flipped my life, that I was now everywhere.”
