Nigerian businesswoman Mabel Makun who is also the ex-wife of famous comedian AY Makun has been in the news a lot over the last few days as clips from her mother’s burial and a recent visit to the John Randle Centre for Yoruba Culture and History has gone viral.
In the trending videos, Mabel was seen stepping out with another man barely a year after she announced the crash of her marriage to AY Comedian.
Information making the rounds on social media has it that the ex-wife of the Nigerian comedian has moved on from her previous marriage and now has a new man in her life.
OSG recalls reporting in 2024, when AY Makun had publicly spoken about the crash of his marriage to Mabel. In the viral post, the comedian noted that both he and Mabel were to be blamed for the crash of their marriage but they would strive to continue to be good parents to their kids.
Mabel goes public with mystery man
The interior decorator was seen with an unknown man walking hand in hand as though they are an item. This sparked massive reactions across social media with many expressing shock at how quickly Mabel seems to have moved on from her marriage of over 16 years.
In the trending clip, Mabel was seen holding hands with the mystery man as they partook in the “This is Lagos” Festival. Another part of the clip, showed the alleged couple together visiting the John Randle Centre for Yoruba Culture and History.
