Couple of months back a community next to mine boiled because a man beat his pregnant wife to death. Her people came around and burnt down many buildings. Last year, I watched as a guy in my neighbourhood beat his pregnant wife, only this time she didnt die. Last weekend, another happened. He was beating her and in the same breathe shouting 'MAKE I SEE BETWEEN ME AND YOU WHO PAY THE BRIDE PRICE'......
Oh my God, does paying the bride price for a woman give you right to beat her, especially as she is pregnant? If he kills her now, he will go and be falsely accusing devil dat is on his own.
So I ask, does bride price give a man right to beat his wife?
For single guys that beat their women, on what right are you standing to beat her?
And finally, who will help us to beat these cowards?
meanwhile, double twale to all our great guys dem wey no dey beat their women no matter wat...

Everyone knows that women are nothing but a pet, atimes pet misbehaves and whenever this happens men should know how keep a good distance, later they will be the one looking for their men once they are back to their normaly mode. But, Nigeria men should be careful this time arround so our women will not linkup with their fellow women of Ghana where they do beat their own men a like to a baby to come for the rescue. I feel so sad hearing and seeing such barbaric act in our contemporary time. Hw could a man who professes to have paid bride price on a woman still go ahead to beat the same ''sugar in my tea'' to death? Most men do not really make plans to settle well after the early enjoyable courtship that lasts for a season not knowing that marriage is a life contract which develops beta when the two parties decide to forego their ego to create a soft landing for their children. Whoever beats his wife has just written a formal letter to poverty which is already approved by God. Lets I forget, women too are provocative in nature but matured men learn per day how to handle these fragile daughters of Eve who do not care to build a house today and demolish it after 2 hours.
