i think ideally we shld come from where we were born. a lot of us who were born and brought up in lagos dont even know or understand the culture and tradition or even language of our parents' home place. We learn and live the life and culture of our place of birth and up-bringing...its as simple as that!!

origin is simply where u originated/came from, not where u were born.
As for me i was born in equatorial Guinea,raised in Nigeria,now in South africa.
