State/Country Of Origin: Where you grew up or where your parents were born? (Page 10)

Origin means Source. So where ever you are born is your place of Birth while your parental (especially Father) source of birth is your state of Origin

given well according to what i was told by parents, that my state of origin is where they come from while my place of birth is where i was birth to. so i think i have answered your question according to what i was told and understand.

When someone is born,they absorb chemicals found in the surrounding area through air and food from this particular area.This chemicals are also found in the rocks and earth. Absorbing these things make you a native of this area, it makes you nostalgic,when you think about where you were born and there fore it make you a native of this place. Have you ever noticed the behaviour of Nigerian children born in America or Britain? They are completely different from those born in Nigeria.During the Biafran war We had Ibo in our house that we protected throughout the war, this was possible because Emeka and his family could speak yoruba fluently and they were born in Lagos, so it was easy for them to mingle with the rest of us
