In 9ja stereotyping is a common phenomenon, its difficult u find people of different culture, languages or ethnicity marrying each other...its happens but rare, in an instance of father/mother inlaw disapproving a marriage bcos the man or woman is not from same ethnicity or tribe, what is the best solution to this - elope or abandon him/or her and make it clear to each other u both cant be happy without the consent of the family..
TO ME I WILL RATHER LET GO AND MAKE PEACE REIGN THAN ELOPING TO NEVERLAND WHERE NO ONE WILL FIND US

I think, if it is real love, be together, and maybe the parents will come around, and if not real love just break it up. I think eloping can be very stressful to u, the relationship, and also to your family, because they will always love you no matter what.

I would say elope..but then again, it'll be good to have the family blessing...but i don't think that i will let go my love if the family disapproves as long as he's willing to still stay together no matter what they say, then its all good...and hopefully they will get to see how happy he is and being treated good by me and that might change their mind cause his happiness should be what really matters and not the tribe Cool

Its very difficult to CUT the family relationship.......Eloping is a bit of fantasy and I'd rather say you have to let it go....ofcourse except you plan to elope somewhere outside planet earth.....

I say eloping is a is daylight stealing...

i would rather stay with my family....coz i have seen most eloped couples who don't make it....when they reach a certain period of time, they gave up their partners and still go back to their families.........

Well from personal experience i must confess that i did elope with my baby daddy even after my sis disapproved and all because he's a yankee...lol..but anyways, she got to accept him when she saw how happy i was and how good he was to me..so that's kinda like 50/50 thang, it might or it might not..but i think it depends on how you too feel about each other though...
