this guy just doled out 450 million dollars for acquisition alone and will still have to inject huge funds to revive the dilapidated NITEL and still yet forbes places him with a meagre 3 billion dollar net worth. forbes had better re-evaluate his new worth because it is very obvious he is worth way more than that.

well this is good news as a few more jobs will created for nigerians

Whats good about buying off Nitel ?? A whole telecommunication of representing the nation ? Na waoo, it shows how low our govt can't control the right things that are suppose to be for the interest of the masses.

Can't Mr Mike open another telecommunication company and allow govt to run the NITEL ? Most people are just interested about the figure mentioned and so on, when are we going to wake from this our long sleep and see the dangers ahead... what will govt use that money do, probably someone will just pocket it and we'll keep suffering for nothing Undecided Undecided

babangidas stolen money from nigerian oil windfall of 1991-1993, that was unaccounted for is now manifesting, adenuga is parading himself as a self made milo but we all know that he is a front man for former president ibrahim badamosi babangida. nemesis will soon catch up with adenugas of our present day nigeria. globacom, conoil, and now the all mighty but mismanaged nitel, they are all interested in mortgaging all they can in the country for their selfish interest.

why did he has to go for NITEL
why not start his own Telecomunicating Network

For your information, he is the owner of
1.Globacom............ One of the best communication networks in Africa
2. Equitorial Trust bank ETB
3. Conoil.

You can see he is in all the lucrative businesses you can think of.
