hi well a friend of mine is dating a guy more than 20 years older than her. she says he makes her extremely happy and is more matured than any of the guys she's been with. am kind of happy for her but not really sure if its a good idea.
am the only one she's told about it because she's scared of what everyone would think esp. her parents. he's proposed to marry her now but she's not sure if she should accept. what should i tell her to do?

All in i have to say is that, if she's very sure dat the guy loves her then tell her to go ahead and marry him because all this nowadays guys are not ready for introduction talk less of marriage, she better don't misused this opportunity.

Well, if she is not bothered of this big difference, then it's ok, but...tell her to take in consideration everything before
taking the final decision!
Good luck!

How old is she or the man cos if she goes ahead to marry a fifty year old man, he may (God forbid) not live long to take care of the children considering the life span of men in this part of the world. Lets not shy away from reality.

Why shouldn't she accept after sleeping with him? Why scared of what people will say and not what the age difference can cause on her? Anyhow, President Mugabe is almost 40yrs older than his wife and they are married so what's 20yrs if her happiness is guaranteed Huh? Huh? Huh? Huh?

In any case, I do not see anything wrong between 20yrs age difference, cos she is already matured enough to withstand a man of any age!

You're welcome!
But try to not influence her in any way with that decision! It must be her decision entirely!
