Dont get me wrong , My hubby made a comment that got me pissed , we had argument and he felt guilty , but could not tell me he is sorry .The next day he came home with a flower(which i rejected) , he played our favourite music , bought gifts , did some loving and tender gests which i did not welcome, etc. Though its all settled now but dont ask me how

He knew and felt guilty for what he did but why cant he say that word "i am sorry" ?

Man finds it difficult to say sorry due to the cultural background. But spiritually, it is not, if there is genuine love and understanding between the spouses.
The cultural settings did not position or influence man to feel remorse for the wrongdoing to the woman why? because, culturally, a man sees a woman as his subject and subordinate so, he have no apology for any wrongdoing. In fact, in African setting, the culture did not position woman well enough. That makes a man to see a woman as a property and not helpmate. When a man wrongs his wife and he is spiritually well equipped, he is expected to apologise even at the expense of that woman�s stubbornness.
But on the other hand, if the woman is too �big enough� to say sorry to her husband, I don�t see reason why the man should, because the wife should be submissive and if she�s not, it will be difficult for the man to say sorry but if that woman is submissive and humble even to a fault, that is enough for a man to say sorry, if he has conscience.

A man can only say " GOD I'm truly sorry for all I've done wrong, I repent of them.
To the ladies, buying you a bunch of sweet smell flowers and trying to please u, pet u by playing that song u love, is already a way to show u, he was at fault and sorry by action, you should accept that and reason with him.

but in this case "she" says sorry when she is wrong

Then check it properly, if most Men do that, there should be some kinda force behind that.. Should i say Men recall at that moment that they only owe that apology to their creator ( GOD ) and not human or any other mammal here on earth, because the creator made them Lord over all things on earth including their helper ( Women ) and no Lord is wrong with his judge or deeds. But mind u, i'm not trying to say that Men can do all sort of silly things becos of this rank. But just to point out why is like that not many of them could say I'm sorry. Even in the court they still claim not guilty
