navygee at 13-01-2012 03:52 PM (11 years ago) (m) People have sacrificed for over 30yrs while the government officials swim in the ocean of wealth. Looting the treasury with no hold bars. Now you still require more sacrifices of that same people that poverty has stripped to the limits for yrs so that you can increase your loots. For Christ's sake, now should be your turn to sacrifice looting and cut down on your salaries. Bring it down to 10thousand dollars a month in all the arms of goverment. Preshpat at 13-01-2012 04:13 PM (11 years ago) (f) Removing the subsidy is not a bad idea but we must plan for it first, meaning the refineries must be working and then transportation facilities must be put in place.
Point of correction, its the "MOST WORSTEST" idea ever......Nigeria as a country is rich, the leaders eat the money , buy mansions worth millions, make unnecessary trips......Subsidy is one of the only benefits we have, they dare not remove that. draG9 at 13-01-2012 04:15 PM (11 years ago) (m) Labour should insist on a phased removal of subsidy ; 20% yearly for the next five years. It should also insist on a full frontal attack against corruption otherwise it would have failed in its protest. Labour should also set up a committee to monitor utilisation of the proceeds of the deregulation for infrastructural development. Governance of this nation should not be left alone to a clueless, corrupt and insensitive regime.
I feel u real deep bro...wise input...if only Labour culd b as smart...

ohis07 at 13-01-2012 05:08 PM (11 years ago) (m) OGA Zion, I do not really understand your standpoint here. Are you saying the NLC shouldn't have gone on strike because of the fact that the poor Nigerians do not feed well as much as the NCL leaders do? Is this the bone of contention here? The poor nigerian ooh, the NLC leaders ooh, these people are fighting to attain one goal.If the NLC does not take action over to reinstate the SUBSIDY, the same poor Nigerians that do not feed well as the NLC leaders will be afffected most in every area. So, what are we talking about here? i think we should be realistic. In my own Opinion, the strike should continue until the NLC acheives their goal. If it means the poor nigerians to suffer for 3months to attain the goal of this fuel subsidy removal, then, let it be than having them to suffer for life because of the fuel subsidy removal. I don talk my own Posted: at 13-01-2012 05:08 PM (11 years ago) | Upcoming | |
