Forum / Naijapals Base (Metro life) / Sanusi Deserves The Suspension He Got- Dr. Fredrick Fasheun |
on: 4-04-2014 09:49 PM
| President and founder of Oodua Peoples Congress (OPC), Dr. Fredrick Fasheun, has said that the suspended Governor of (CBN), Sanusi Lamido Sanusi deserved his suspension by President Goodluck Jonathan. Fasehun also described him as an arrogant person and said he built a wall around himself and had no respect for anyone while in power. Below is what he told Daily Sun “Sanusi has no respect for the office of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and carried on as if he is a law unto himself. The fact that he is a prince does not confer a special statue on him; he is not above the president. Even monarchs are still under the head of state.” On Sanusi’s challenge of his removal in court, Fasheun said: “President Goodluck Jonathan is an executive president; he can hire and fire. Sanusi deserved what he got, he deserved his sack by the president. How can you be so arrogant to an executive president of a country like Nigeria?” He also faulted Sanusi’s claim that his removal from office was not in order: “He (Sanusi) claimed that President Jonathan does not have the right to remove him; from which book did he read that? He who hires has the right to fire. “The President has the right to suspend or remove him. If he (Sanusi) has the power to fight back, he can as well suspend the President.” Fasheun described as mind-blowing, the report of the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria (FRCN), which indicted Sanusi and urged the government to thoroughly investigate him and if found culpable, prosecute and jail him to serve as deterrent to others. Ahmed, 15, was reluctant to meet his mother who he hadn't seen for seven years. However, the program's ('Bil Akeed', or 'For Sure') team convinced him to do so. Ahmed got visibly angry and started defending his father. The woman then replied by saying he sounded like an 'intoxicated' and 'drunk' teenager. Ahmed reacted by jumping on the table and kicking his mother in the face. He was quickly pulled away from his mother by the program's team. Forum / The Buzz Central / 'I don't like poor men admiring me' - Fast rising actress, Lizzy Gold |
on: 4-04-2014 05:31 PM
| Nollywood actress, Lizzy Gold, says the major criteria for any man to woo her is that he must be rich and that no poor man should even think of admiring her picture, let alone 'toast' her. In a chat with Entertainment Express, Lizzy also said bank alerts turn her on. What she said below... "A poor man shouldn't even think of admiring my picture, not to talk of wooing me. I love money so much so I can't marry a poor man. I don't even want a man who is merely comfortable. My interest and affection are for millionaires, if possible billionaires. Money means so much to me, in fact money makes me wet. Sometimes when I imagine so much money in my account, I could just get wet. Bank alert is like my best friend. I just need to imagine so much money in my account and I am turned on. When I get a credit alert on my account, Oh my God, I get turned on immediately. Lizzy says asides having money and being willing to spend it on her, another very important thing she looks out for in a man is that he must be well 'endowed'. 56 Year Old Actress, Sharon Stone Flashes N1pples In Sheer Outfit [PHOTOS] | | |

Forum / Naijapals Base (Metro life) / 14yr old Girl gets Rescued From a Forced Marriage to 25yr old Husband in Lagos |
on: 4-04-2014 05:13 PM
| A 14-year old girl from Niger Republic has been rescued after she was forcefully married to a Bureau de Change operator in Yaba area of Lagos. The girl (name withheld) was forcefully married to 25-year old Bashiru Yaya (pictured below) also from Niger Republic on 29 December, 2013 while the girl was still in Senior Secondary I at Ansarudden Academy at Randle, Surulere. The girl’s parents, Mr Hamidu and Mrs Abibat Ahmed were said to have taken the girl away from school while in SS I and married her out to Yaya as his second wife after he allegedly paid 300,000 Cefas, which is equivalent to N100,000 to them. Officials of the Office of Youth and Social Development, Lagos State Government, however, got wind of it after the girl managed to smuggle a written letter to the office narrating how she was forced into marriage and her willingness to go back to school. The government officials went to her house at 57, Little Road, Yaba, to rescue her and later arrested Yaya and the girl’s parents. The girl was taken into custody of the state government and her husband was detained temporarily at the Taskforce office, Alausa before they were released later. In the handwritten letter the little girl wrote, she made it known that she was never interested in the marriage, but that it was her mother, Abibat who spearheaded the whole arrangement against her wish. “I was in SS I when I was forced into marriage, a marriage I never wanted and I am 14-years old. Never in my life have I thought of marriage when I was in school, although my father never accepted this marriage. It was my mum. My dad wanted me to become someone in life for me to be able to help the family the way he is doing. Before this entire marriage proposal started, they asked my dad about it but he said he did not want to give out his daughter in marriage until she finished schooling. The marriage took place on 29 December, 2013. I never loved the man and my mum knew about this all along but she refused and I am the man’s second wife,” she explained in her letter. According to her, when she was in school, somebody closed to her introduced her to the Social Welfare Department of the Office of Youth and Social Development, which came to her rescue: “I knew I should have found solution to this at the beginning, I thought of running away but I asked myself, would running away solve this?” she said, saying she decided not to run away but to look for other solution. Special Adviser to the Governor on Youth and Social Development, Dr Dolapo Badru said the girl had the ambition of becoming a medical doctor before they married her out to a man who already had a wife. “They stopped her from going to school and she sneaked out and we were able to rescue her. When we brought them here to my office, we asked the mother questions and she could not say anything. The girl implicated the mother in her petition. Her husband has disvirgined her,” he said. Badru said the Child Rights law of the state government is against minor being married out and that such act attracts punishment according to the law, saying that government would ensure that the future of the girl is secure. PMNews gathered that the girl said while she did not want to remain in the marriage and wanted to go to school, she did not want any of her family members jailed by the police over the issue. As they were taken to the taskforce office, the little girl, thinking that they wanted to detain her parents changed her story, saying that she loved Yaya and wanted the marriage, only that she wanted to complete her education first contrary to the letter she wrote. on: 4-04-2014 11:15 AM
| I'm posting this because some critics have said he can't take his "act" to Asia. But he is there live: Pastor T.B. Joshua is currently flying the flag for Nigeria in the Asian nation of South Korea where he just concluded a two day pastor’s conference. Pictures posted to Joshua’s official Facebook Page showed him addressing a gathering of over 3000 Korean pastors in Shingil Church located in Korea’s capital city, Seoul. The two day event was also broadcast live via his popular Christian television station Emmanuel TV. The move surprised many of his followers as the visit was unannounced and it is TB Joshua’s first foreign ministry travel in nearly seven years besides a much publicised visit to Ghana last year that brought parts of Accra to a literal standstill. After receiving TB Joshua’s prayer, he guided several Korean clergymen to pray for the sick. Scores of those who showed up at the venue were healed with two of the afflicted walking out of their wheelchairs. Forum / Naijapals Base (Metro life) / Nigerian man learned to walk in high heels as part of his plans to kill his mom |
on: 4-04-2014 10:56 AM
| 21 year old Emmanuel Kalejaiye is accused of learning how to walk in high heels and purchasing an all-pink outfit, pink hoodie, pink jogging bottoms, and a scarf as part of his 'meticulous plans' to kill and then impersonate his own mother, UK Daily Mail reports. Full report below... A court heard he planned to wear them as he moved his mother’s car so as to deceive any neighbour who saw him into thinking that she was still alive. The court heard he had detailed on a piece of paper how he had to learn to walk in high heels for this part of his plan. Kalejaiye is accused of killing his 44-year-old mother,Tolu Kalejaiye (pictured above), at their home in Wickford, Essex, on September 26 last year. A jury at Chelmsford Crown Court heard on Wednesday how his plans involved buying women’s clothing and learning how to walk in high heels so neighbours would think he was his mother. He also bought knives, rubber gloves and turned a beanie hat into a 'frightening mask' as part of his plan, the court heard. He allegedly covered the floors of the house and garage in cardboard and bin liners to prevent evidence being found. Kalejaiye wrote his murder plan down on pieces of paper and even made plans to get rid of his brother Femi if he found out or stumbled on the scene, it was said. The court heard he planned to kill his mother when she came back from church or when she was coming downstairs to go to work. Prosecutor Andrew Jackson told the court: 'He made meticulous and detailed plans for the slaying of his own mother'. The car was to be parked around the corner to make it look as if she was at work, the court heard. It was alleged that Kalejaiye struck on September 26 last year as his mother came downstairs on her way to work. But the court heard how the plan started to unravel as his mother managed to call her friend Leo Shogunle. He did not answer, but the call went to his voicemail and when he picked it up later on, he called police. The court then heard that when police arrived at the scene they discovered the body of Tolu Kalejaiye on the living room floor, along with a mass of evidence linking her son with the death. Checks later revealed he had bought clothes, knives, gloves and even lighter fuel to dispose of her body, it was said. Former Essex University student Kalejaiye denies murder and has admitted a lesser charge of manslaughter, but this plea has not been accepted by the prosecution. Kalejaiye confessed to police he had killed his mother and claimed she tortured him mentally and quoted the Bible at him, the court heard. rl=http://bit.ly/1mbyfQ8]MORE WOMEN WITH BIG BOOTY ON INSTAGRAM (PHOTOS)[/url] | | |
