Finding a life partner could be very challenging. At times we may not know what they want. Here are a few characteristics which you can look for in a mate. Note however, that there is no such thing as perfect, so you may not find someone with all the characteristics listed below.
• Accepting you for who you are • Could be a shoulder to lean on • Admits when he/she is wrong • Don't gossip or acts as a busybody or encourages you in any such thing • Possesses patience • Allows you to be yourself in his/her presence and even when you are in the company of friends • Godly • Even though he/she doesn't have much book sense, he/she must have common sense. That is the ability to think off the back of his/her head. • Is willing to compromise, at least just enough to make things better. • Honest and truthful about everything including emotions, the past, present and future. • Willing to wait • Knows how to dress and in a modest manner • Can be trusted with other friends • Supportive and trusts your decision-making and vice versa. • Faithful and committed to the relationship for the long-term • Someone who knows how to lead. But is not a dictator. • Someone strong, well-built in statue • Considerate towards others • Can be able to parent his/her children • Can be trusted when alone together • Is sure of what he/she wants to accomplish in life • Does not pressure you or ask you to do something that makes you feel uncomfortable. • Punctual and conscious of time • Believes it when you pray, and have faith in God. • Loves in spite of faults and weaknesses • A good conversationalist • Ambitious • Have a good job or career • Don't follow the crowd or what others are doing • Understanding • Respects you as well as his/her family members and those in authority • Fun to be with or have a good sense of humour • Don't give up easily and is willing to go the extra mile • Loves to pray in everything or in every situation • Don't get jealous when you talk with other friends • Helpful towards you and towards people in need • Not boastful or bragging • Could be a shoulder to lean on • Don't make promises he/she can't keep • Don't embarrass you in front of others • Open minded • Has a positive outlook on life • Don't bring up the past • Has good money management • Have a car or a driver's license with the intention of getting a car • Have his/her own place or is looking or building one • Neat and tidy • Available when you need him/her • Knows when to be quiet, talk, stop, tell you something nice etc. • Is sure of himself/herself. i dont bliv in most of the posts especial the strike through one............yu dont tell a man how yu feel abt him bcos he might use it against yu.......we let them feel the it rather than saying it so they dont take yu for guarented .............another one is abt the PAST'' let the dead burry themselves.............since it is past why reincarnating something that might ruin ur r/ship?? unless the person is virgin mary if not we all ve a story to tell..............i 'did advice that the past shud remain past
