That is not a surprise

Apart from those countries in fully-blown war, Nigeria would be no 1 for the following reasons:

1. Deadly armed robberies

2. Regular Air, road accidents

3. Fake doctors and medicine

4. Unreliable  HIV figure and poor awareness

5. Environmental pollution from oil spillage, illicit and indiscriminate disposal of house hood and human waste

6. Unsafe water and food poisoning

7. Poor drainage system

8. Poor housing ( overcrowded rooms)

9. Poor sanitation in general

10. Bittin corruption

11. Senseless tribal wars over farmlands

12. Illiteracy and falling education standard

among others too numerous to list

"the Nigerian government is facing a terrorist group, the Movement for the Emancipation of Niger Delta (MEND), which attacks the facilities and personnel of oil companies. Kidnappings of expatriates and attacks on oil pipelines are their predilections, negating attempts Armistice incurred by the State."

Whoever wrote this has a serious problem. Since when did MEND become a "terrorist" group? What then will they call Boko Haram? They may not be sending their message to the government in the best and most peaceful way but frankly-speaking, the government does not understand the launguage of peace; they never have and probably never will. That is why they had to be aggressive (I'm not supporting their actions). The only reason why they have now been coined "terrorist" is because they did not allow foreigners in ally with the government to come into their land, take their God-given natural resources and leave them poorer than before. This so called Global Peace Index is a bunch of rubbish. They need to get their facts straight. They're peobably working for those selfish oil companies all over the world.

It must be a white man who came up with these statistics. I know for a fact some of the countries listed are not dangerous and no violence exists there anymore either.
