If i may ask, did the girl buy a phone that contains another person's  simcard. If yes, then i suspect something fishy. If she bought a simcard by herself how did the man get to know her number which led to his callin her. Maybe she's very naive that she's not aware of the fact that the simcard inside the phone she bought is for somebody and secondly giving the man her address to come and collect the phone without asking the person she bought the phone from how it came abt

I tink d phone is landline, cus starcomms phones are landlines, though dey might come in form of an handset oh, but som of dem are without sim card, so i tink datz wot happened, & giving d man her address is not evn a mistake, she might want 2 do it cuz she doesnt knw it will backfire, i really pity d poor LAD

The punishment was very harsh, but she committed a crime and she served her time.

don't u read it? have u seen a thief give his/her address for a victim to come and collect wat was stolen? she never knew the phone was a stolen one.

This is a serious case. The attorney general should bring the IPO to book. 1 For not listening and investigating the true age of the girl and 2. For making the little girl waste 4 years of her youthful life. Please all the NGO's should handle this case so that this girl could have a semblance of life.

justice will never be fully served, untill those who got her incercerated with trumped-up charges are brought to book !!!,  This is just a telltale sign of how justice is manipulated in Nigeria in favor of the rich and famous, shame on the Nigerian judicial system.  Angry Angry Angry

Complete mockery of judiciary. Spent 4yrs for offence of 6months & the trial judge in his verdict, never said anything about the extra time served, this is absurd, the height of inhumanity. She don't need to hire a private attorney, b/4 justice is done in this case. Naija na waa. Shocked Shocked Shocked
