Only in Nigeria people blame Government but never protest or marching for Revolution, they only seek for ways of making money then allow Government to do their own thing. Western world, often marching against any policy that they found comfortable, but Nigerians engulfed themselves with the system because corruption is easy to operate.  Sad Sad Sad Sad Sad Sad Sad Sad Sad Sad Sad

i disagree with you, cos it is said that no one tell a matured man to go out of the sun, who is the government? it is me and you.
the government has no blame. anyone that know what is right and fails to do it, such person is a fool.
sister listen, in every develope country the gervernment is a group of pple that made a law and the citizens will follow up the law but in nigeria is never like and even the government of nigeria made law and brake it aswell. so be saying that u & i are the goverment, u re wrong.

Poverty is one of the reason, When the average Nigerian is living below a dollar per day what do you expect...Every one becomes desperate and the Life they have means nothing to them...

That's correct.  Poverty/hunger can make you do anything for money.
Check the woman in the bible that told her friend to bring her son for them to kill and eat
that the following day she will bring her own................
what was the cause of it in the land then? Famine, hunger, poverty etc.

why should we blame government. were these pple not feeding before the tanker somersaulted? didn't they know that the product is highly inflammable? nowadays common sense is no longer common. a reasonable man will never go and scoop fuel from there. my condolences goes to the bereaved family of those who lost their lives scooping fuel and also the farmers in the bush including the passerbys.

Bros u are very correct, nigeria isa veru poor and the pple are strugling by any means to survive. infact nigerian government no dey try atll. just look at these poor pple and the risk behind them. Good goverment of any country will never allow thier own citizen to get close to a denger spot like this..
