Poorest countries says who?... and what is used to determine how rich or poor a country is?... value of money?... per capita income?... # of skyscrapers?... cars? Is Zimbabwe worst than Greece? About blaming others...who destroyed Iraq?.....Libya?...Egypt?... and is now trying with Syria and Iran? History always repeat itself.If you want to know why Africa is the way it is I suggest you read "How Europe Underdeveloped Africa" by Walter Rodney. Am done.

This is all about African wars and most of this wars were caused by the westerners...Africans need to wake up from their slumber.

come to think of it, this list is in-correct cos I expect to see some worse countries but not listed. What are the criteria for this selfish conclusion?  Source please

Nigeria is not better than most of the countries listed. Any country with more than half
of its population below the poverty level is a poor country.

It is a shame that the Nigerian rural areas has the same problems with this very poor countries and even worst given the insecurity there.

I agree with you 100%. Nigeria is very blessed. Nigeria could be as rich or even richer than the western countries like U.S who don't have natural resources like Africa. Only if we didn't have foolish/selfish politicians who missmanage & embezzle money. The numerous resources in Africa is truly a blessing from God meant be a blessing for the country not a disaster. It's sad that a lot of African countries are in poverty/corruption even though there's money in the country
