Uchenna Nnamdi, 31, is facing trial for allegedly having carnal knowledge of a 7- year-old girl.The suspect was docked at an Ota Magistrate Court, Ogun State.
Uchenna was said to have committed the offence punishable under section 28 of criminal code vol.1 of the Revised Laws of Ogun State.
According to the prosecutor, Nnamdi, on July 28, 2012, at No 3 Olaiya Street, Adelemo, Sango Ota, Ogun State, forced the girl to bed.
The victim was said to be living in the same neighbourhood with the accused person before he committed the alleged crime.
Uchenna pleaded not guilty to the charge while the trial magistrate, S.T. Bello, adjourned the case for further hearing.
