I agreed with everything you said except the idol worshiping thing. Conferring a chieftaincy title on someone has always been our practice thousands of years before the invasion of the wicked western culture that has so much influence on our lives. These titles don’t mean anything more these days even armed robbers are chiefs. A lot of leaders are chiefs but they are criminals. Our culture is not about idol worshiping and killing someone.
