WARRI – TRAGEDY struck at one of the rehabilitation camps for flood victims in Delta State, weekend, when three persons, including two brothers, who visited the camp ground to identify with the Internally Displaced Persons, IDPs, were electrocuted.
However, at submerged Elohim community in Burutu Local Government Area, it was not a story of death, as three women, Mrs. Seidougha Serah, Mrs Kemekebulou Ezonkaboere and Mrs. James Kampala, gave birth to two baby boys and a girl.
The electrocution incident reportedly occurred at the Caverginia Primary School Relief Camp, Warri, for flood victims at about 7.00 pm.
An eye wtiness said: “The victims were four in number. They were not among those affected by flood. They had gone to empathize with those who were affected and were at the entrance to the camp when an electric cable snapped from the pole after a loud spark and landed on them.
“Two of the victims were either Ibibio or Efik, one was Urhobo while the other was Ijaw. One of them was rushed to Central Hospital, Warri. I understand that one of the victims was actually trying to pull out his brother who was affected when he himself was electrocuted.”
Common sense is indeed not common.

Why must an incident occur before the Govt move in to show case their false sympathy α̲̅πϑ cart away millions under that pretext. If they genuinely felt the plight of those affected @ least a qualified health α̲̅πϑ environment safety officer would have been detailed to the camp to evaluate the potential health α̲̅πϑ safety hazard to the campers. Where did predictive, detective α̲̅πϑ preventive safety go to? So quick to rush into corrective safety α̲̅πϑ they end up NOT correcting anything at all. That's one of the differences between Nigeria α̲̅πϑ other better developed nations...the absence of total commitment, not the media facade used to proclaim ones achievement...sometimes I wonder who they α̲̅я̩̥̊ε̲̣̣̣̥ fooling???

One of the leaders, on top of the list of those to be burnt is currently burning in hell. Just reserve your barbaric judgment, or you can apply it to your brothers in Ezillo, Ishielu and other parts of Igboland who slaughter one another on land and boarder disputes.
Building a wall between north and south? It would have been a great idea. Hundreds of thousands of Igbos living in the north would be much happier.
