absolutely but since most 9ja names have got meaning, i believe tonto has a maning in igbo language and a good one for that matter...me think the name was shorten..ask an old igbo person, he or she will tell you the full version of the name and its meaning!...but if you think a name does not have effect on the bearer then name your child "failure" or rather "foolish" then you do understand what i'm saying..George Weah named his son "champion" and i think it's a wonderful name 'cos even if the boy loses any competition, people will still be forced to declare him winner 'cos his name means a "winner"!!!
