VIDEO: 19 Years Old Upcoming Star Frustrates Serena Williams At Australian Open

Surprised but not shocked, considering Serena's back injury and Sloane's determined and feisty nature of play, just like her childhood idol.

Being her first Grand Slam, the 19-year-old tennis newbie had everything to prove and that's just what she did when she took advantage of Serena Williams' back injury and battled the ever competitive champ to win by 3-6, 7-5, 6-4.



While Serena leaves the competition, Sloane forges ahead to face Victoria Azarenka in the semis.
