Please don't get things mixed up.... Ogun in Yoruba language is "Iron"and not god.
The Yoruba word for god is "Oluwa or Olorun" just like "Chineke" in Igbo language.

One can you use phrases like; God of Iron meaning Olorun ti Ogun, god of river, god of sea and so on as so forth.
God is god of all if we have to go by the Bible, Koran and our religion.
God created everything: Human Beings, Animals, Plants, Rivers, Seas, etc.......

 As much as i like and respect your gentle speech but you are very wrong sir...God is completely different from gods. Ogun was never referred to as God. Even in yoruba history, ogun is just one of d small gods generally called Orisha..An example is Sango, god of thunder. There is only one God in yoruba land popularly known has olorun or olodumare. The direct translation of it in english is God. The same thing occurs in every other languages and cultures. For example russians call God "Bog" but it doesn't mean that they don't have smaller gods. God is just one, except if you believe in trees or other objects made by God himself. Yes  the one God creates them all but directing your prayers, thanks and request to objects makes them gods. Most modern religions are against this .. Like d Bible and Quran confirmed that the one God is a jealous God and he is absolutely against other gods....Not allowing some people to use the world Allah cos of their religion or cultural difference is totally contradicting. Does it mean that d word ALLAH is different 4rm the generally known "One God"?....I hate to say this but not allowing a group of people to use d word "Allah" as God means he is diff 4rm d "One God" known everywhere...Then Allah must be a god.
