Gov. Adams Oshiomhole of Edo today Friday November 29,2013 apologised for the comments he made to a widow in Benin during an inspection tour on Mission Road, in the state capital, a fortnight ago.
Oshiomhole said that he now regretted the comments which had become the subject of discourse in the social media.
The Governor, however, noted that he made the comments in anger. Oshiomhole’s apology was made when the leadership of the Federation of Muslim Women’s Association of Nigeria (FOMWAN), paid him a courtesy visit in Benin. He noted that though the challenge of modern times had bestowed on the shoulders of some women and single mothers the status of bread winners of their homes, such should not be used as an accuse to flout the laws……………culled
*Okay he has apologised...fine but shouldn't he be apologising to the lady?shouldn't he be returning her wares that was taken away?shouldn't he ask if she has children and put them on government scholarship to help ease her burden?He has apologised to FOMWAN and that's it?
Anyone who reads this can say i am hating on the governor but that's your two cents,Oshiomole needs to look for that woman and make it up to her...He abused her emotionally..he took away her only source of livelihood and only God knows how she has managed to put food on the table since then.
Please if you know Oshiomole,tell him to do the right thing...i am sure i speak the mind of a few people...this is my two cents and i am not moving an inch forward or backward.

I support you wholeheartedly, he should look for the woman and after returning her wares to her he should give her substantial amount of money to augment her business.

You made a political statement to the Federation of Muslim Women’s Association of Nigeria (FOMWAN),that woman may not even be a member of that association.So Mr.DONKEY,that is not an apology.You know you are a Widower,my prayer is that God will make your children Orphans by taking away your life,you unrepentant DONKEY.

Am 100% sure that his opposition will surely take this arrogant mistake of his, as an advantage to get at him. they will look for the woman and do the compensation for him. This will surely cost him and his party something

The video support the lady's version of the story, she did not break any law as alleged by the Governor. She was not selling anything by the road side, all her things were wrapped in boxes or bags and sealed when they were taken away from her.
She lady pleaded that, she was dropped there by a vehicle and had to take the things across traffic to the other side and there was no way a wheelbarrow can help her from that spot.
Even if she was adjoined to have broken the law, the government should not be the Prosecutor, Judge and Jury over her own laws; that is jungle justice. This is no different that the MOB arresting a theft and setting him a flame, they are all jungle justice...because a single individual or set of people decide to be Judge and Jury.
The Governor broke the law, by depraving this lady her due process of the law.

Guy easy now, too wrongs cannot make a right "ori gige ko ni Ogun ori fifo now" though I hate him for his senseless utterance but you should nevertheless wish him death in return.....besides the fool don apologise now
