A Unilag undergraduate, Olayemi Victoria has accused NIPOST office, Unilag branch of stealing her diamond engagement ring and Blackberry Z10 sent to her by her fiancé in the US.
Olayemi said a Diamond ring, Blackberry Z10, PS, chocolate bar and magazine were all in the package, but the Diamond ring and Z10 were missing when she received the package She said she immediately returned it back and made a complain asking them to return what they took from the package but one of the officials threatened to beat her up.
After speaking to her fiancé, she made a report at the Sabo Police Station, but little or nothing was done. She was later directed to NIPOST’s Somolu district when the lady insisted on having her stolen items back. The diamond ring belongs to her, but the Z10 was for her fiancé’s brother, she said.

Mistake, Mistake. I sent documents once when I was in UK, they taught it was something valuable and it never got to the intended recipient, because I registered it then Royal mail in UK compensated me with about 10 pounds then. Nigerians and their thief , thief attitude never ever send any valuable through NIPOST. Even in aero they stole T shirt from my luggage in 2010 on a return trip from US just to get back from Lagos to Warri. Nigerians and their thief thief behaviour, there is nowhere they do not strike.
