The outlash following Lebron James ‘breaking of British Protocol’ during Prince Williams and wife, Kate Middleton, the Duke and Dutchess of Cambridge visit to the States, is expected but the intensity is totally unexpected. British media have been agog over Lebron’s gaffe. According to the BBC,
“When meeting a royal, there are rules about who can speak first, where to look, what to call them, how you should stand and when you should sit.” Another publication asked “…does this give this sweat-soaked basketball player the right to put his arm around our Duchess of Cambridge?
Just like a Nigerian twitter user said, the British need to chill, she’s human.

Abi oooo, I got so pissed wen I read dis. It wld have made sense if he was been put through with all d protocols and let it be a case dat he knew bt disobeyed it. These new generation of the British Monach were trained by their late mother Diana to be humble and come down to people's level. Yes i agree with the show of respect to the ancient traditions, but i am happy that these new generation will change some of these traditions and do things their way.Dont get me wrong , i believe traditions and set rules should be respected especially if you want a relationship to be enriched,but if the young successors wants things to change in their time and its the right thing to do, let them. You know black people don't send anybody anyway especially the American ones, you see how down to earth the Obamas were when they visted the great Queen of England. She hugged or kissed her which is like a taboo, but did you hear or read that Prince Williams and his wife boarded a commercial intercity flight to meet the Obamas on their recent journey to the US. .

The duke and duchess want to be free and have a nice time in US but the paparazzi won't let them. I know they travelled with their protocol officers and orderlies since nobody stopped King James then it is ok by them. Life is not as hard as the brits are taking it, atimes you just need to let go and smell the flower
