But sometimes some parents are just too stuck in their own image and what people will say than your own happiness. i forbid my parents to impose any girl on me. I would love to get their blessings on a girl i choose to tie the knots with but Imposing someone on me, they'll have to come get her corpse the next morning.

We may say "gone are d days"...but it still happens today...mostly among the very influential ppl
