Oooop: Rihanna’s Dad Thrown Out Of Daughter’s Fundraiser For Being Drunk

Rihanna’s father, Ronald Fenty just publicly spoke about his recent experience at the Diamond Ball, his daughter’s inaugural fundraiser for Clara-Lionel Foundation,  that took place earlier this month. The singer’s father was estranged from the charity event after he allegedly appeared drunk. “I had Johnny Walker Black. I had two doubles and tripped over a chair – I had been on the red carpet for the pictures, I met a couple of famous people I knew and talked with them,” Fenty explained.



Then he described how he was practically taken outside: “And then somebody left a chair and I stepped back and fell over. Within a few minutes security came up and said We are taking you home.”

“I said, ‘But I haven’t seen my daughter yet’ and they said, ‘Don’t matter man. Please do not make a scene it will reflect on your daughter.'”

But this was not the first time Rihanna’s dad got escorted away from the popstar. Six years ago, while traveling with his daughter for her US Tour, he was also sent home. Late, in 2013, RiRi paid for her dad’s long stay at a luxurious rehab clinic in Malibu.

Nevertheless, despite this unfortunate incident, Fenty, who had previously battled drug addiction was really apologetic speaking to MailOnline: “I guess she would be angry with me, we haven’t spoken just yet. I feel bad because I let her down – she spent all that money putting me in rehab, and then finding me drunk somewhere…It is not good.”
