A coalition of South-East groups met in Enugu on Wednesday, accusing President Goodluck Jonathan of taking Ndigbo for a ride.
Those present included representatives of the Igbo Leaders Council, Umuada Ala Igbo, Igbo Women Assembly, Igbo Students’ Association, Igbo Youth Movement, South-East Self Determination Coalition and Eastern Christian Council.
Comrade Samuel Edeson, the coordinator of the South-East Self Determination Coalition, who spoke on behalf of the groups said :
“Mr. President has failed to fulfill all the promises he made to the people of the South-East despite the block vote given to him by the people of the zone.
“He promised that by the first quarter of last year cargo will be landing here in the South-East from different parts of the world, but nothing has come out of it. Our people still pass through the rigours of traveling to Lagos to clear their goods.
“If we also look at the rail way, which is one sector this administration has given so much attention, no significant thing is happening in the South-East, unlike other zones where it is now an alternative means of transport.
“So, the South-East youths and Ndigbo in general are very angry with this administration; if nothing is done and quickly too, President Jonathan should not expect our votes in 2015. Let him not allow sycophants deceive him by making him feel that all is well”.
“We don’t see the reason to continue voting for someone who has no clear plan for the development of this zone”, he concluded.

The APC has been consistent in saying that the PDPhas ruled Nigeria for 16 disastrous years in whichcorruption, impunity, insurgency, armed robbery andseveral ills of society held sway, but at a very closelook at the APC, I am seeingAmaechi - 8yrs speaker; 7yrs governor under PDP,Atiku - 8yrs Vice president under PDP,Akume - 8yrs governor under PDP,Bukola Saraki - 8yrs governor; 2yrs Senator underPDP,Timipre Sylva -4yrs governor under PDP,Audu Ogbe - 2yrs chairman of PDP,Aminu Masari - 4yrs Reps speaker under PDP,Chris Ngige - 3yrs governor under PDP,Kwankwaso - 7yrs governor,3yrs Defense ministerunder PDP,El rufai - 4yrs FCT minister, 2yrs BPE chairman underPDP...and to cap it all they went to OBJ begging, a manwho spent 8 of the disastrous 16yrs as the maximumruler of Nigeria to come and lead them on a rescuemission.It is now clearer that APC is a waste basket of the PDP,where the people who created and perpetuated the "16 Disastrous years" are now dumped. ..pleaseNigerians what is the change in this APC?

GEJ became the biggest political error in Nigeria political history, he blow away every opportunity to write his name in gold, he blow away over 21 billion dollars in excess crude oil account in 8 months. The leadership errors became a chains under his watch, boko haram emerged and waxed stronger, killing the masses from state to state, and the president even said boko haram are in his government. GEJ appeared like a drowning president ruling a drowning nation yet want to hold onto power till nation disappears.
Is he the kind president Nigerians really needs? Some people said yes and others said no. Most of those saying yes, base their argument on religious and ethnic grounds. A social commentator wrote " if you believed GEJ has rule Nigeria well so far, type amen. if you want God to rule your life in the same way GEJ is ruling Nigeria." Nobody was bold enough to say amen.
