Imo State Governor Owelle Rochas Okorocha, has said the All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential candidate, Major-General Muhammadu Buhari (retd) is the Nelson Mandela of our time and urged Nigerians to vote for him, Vanguard reports.



Speaking to Imo State indigenes at a reception for him at Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos, Okorocha who spoke in Igbo said

“Buhari is the Mandela of our time. At 72, what does he want? He will do one term, fix the country and move on and then power will be come back to the South. When power rotates to the South, the South-East will have it in 2019 because the South-West has had it through Chief Olusegun Obasanjo and the South-South through Dr Goodluck Jonathan.’’

    ‘’Under President Jonathan administration, the South-East is not among the five topmost positions in the country (President, Vice President, Senate President, Chief Justice of the Federation, Speaker of the House of Representatives), does not have any of the service chiefs, Inspector General of Police, Controller of Customs, Immigration, Civil Defence, etc. We only have controller of Prisons. This is not fair.’’

@cycle... YES Buhari has gone to prison for 3yrs. IBB put him there, and when he came out, he divorced his wife for collecting money from IBB. You may not have been born then, or maybe ignorant.
I dont think Buhari is at the level of Mandela, but he is in a class of his own. He is strong-willed and will bring 'Political will' we all crave for, make decisive decisions and most importantly bring checks and balances whilst ending the PDP's impunity.

Okorocha is the most foolish igboman I've ever seen. Buhari himself said he's going for two terms, who is he decieving and if apc has Igbo agenda why Was he not given vp position instead of osibanjo a Yoruba man not minding that  former president obj isYoruba. They will always use igboman and dump him afterwards.

Everybody don craze for this country but Rochas own na madness. All the working PDP governors that changed to APC have abandoned their on going project including Rochas and Amaechi and diverted the money to fight PDP. That is change we are working for.

Please let him go to prison first and spend 27 years. That is the criteria for anyone who want to steps on Nelson Mandela's shoes. Okorocha is suffering from mental disorder.
