PDP’s Jimi Agbaje Reportedly Congratulates APC’s Akinwumi Ambode

Akinwunmi Ambode the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Lagos state received a call from Jimi Agbaje of the People’s Democratic Party at 6:50pm today. The source within the All Progressives Congress (APC) that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) gubernatorial candidate Jimi Agbaje, conceded the governor race. In the call Jimi Agbaje promised to work with his administration for the prosperity of Lagos State in the next four years. With collation of votes still ongoing the state, congratulatory messages are already pouring in for Ambode.
Reports said the APC in Lagos rolled out the drums in celebration after Ambode won in the local government areas that definitively indicated the PDP had been defeated in the poll.




In other news,  the incumbent governor of Lagos State,  Babatunde Raji Fashola was captured on camera as he shared an embrace with the first lady when the news of Ambode's victory filtered in.
