Head coach of the Super Eagles, Sunday Oliseh, has revealed that John Mikel Obi refused to show up for their meeting, while he was in London. The Chelsea midfielder is one of the prominent names excluded, as Oliseh announced his 18-man foreign based squad this week and the former national team captain has explained what happened. ”I went to make contact, but I never got a reply or call back whereas Victor Moses came, we traveled to London and he (Mikel) was the only player that did not come for the appointment,” he said. Nigeria will travel to Dar Es Salaam to play Tanzania next month, in an AFCON 2017 qualifying game.
