Personnel attached to the security unit of the Presidential Villa will no longer be entitled to special allowances following the orders of the president. President Muhammadu Buhari has instructed that special allowance for security personnel in the Presidential Villa be stopped, investigations by the Naijapals revealed.
Prior to the instruction, all security personnel posted to the Villa were being paid what is known as Risk and Hazard Allowance.
However, since his assumption of office, President Buhari was said to have refused to pay the money to them.
During the last regime, Naijapals learnt that senior security officers covering the Villa were said to have been collecting between N75,000 and N50,000 while their junior ones received between N30,000 and N25,000 on a monthly basis.

that's good, are they paying people fighting boko haram any special allowance?? so if they aren't paying people at battle field, why someone that for the next four years there's every possibility that he won't have any problem other than guarding the President... so to my opinion it's good, we can't be spending money unnecessarily.. no BUJE-BUDANU
