Earlier today, there was a story that Kebbi State first lady, Zainab Shinkafi adopeted and renamed the daughter of a mad woman she saw in her state, the first lady has reached out to Naijapals to correct some error in the information passed in the earlier post, The first lady has informed us that she did not adopt the girl but offered a helping hand to the girl and helped her sick mother to the hospital till she recover and is able to take care of the girl properly, the girl is currently with the first lady and she has not been given a new name as earlier stipulated.



We applaud the first lady for the act of kindness and apologize for any misconception from the earlier story, peep first lady's tweet below:
