Heavy rainfall in the early hours of Thursday, the 30th of  July, 2016 led to massive flooding of some communities across Adamawa state rendering many homeless.

“The rain started falling around 2AM when i was trying to fall asleep after reading my book. Tunder strikes took over and heavy rainfall followed, before i could close my eyes I saw water in my room” Grace Musa a resident of Shagari Phase 2 said.


Communities flooded, include Dubai Bachure, Shagari yola town, Yolde Pate, Damilu, Jokems Jambutu, and 80 unit.
