Lagos Eyo Festival Is Disrupted By Rain and People Think It Has Something To Do With Ooni Of Ife

It seems Nigerians are not letting go of the viral report of how the Oba of Lagos, Rilwan Akiolu, snubbed the Ooni of Ife at an event in Lagos, as the heavy rainfall witnessed in some parts of Lagos at the ongoing Eyo festival held in the State, has been linked to the faceoff between the two monarchs.












Coming after it was reported that a heavy rainfall was witnessed in some parts of Lagos, setting Nigerian Twitter on fire and leading to some claims that the 'rainfall was sent by the Ooni of Ife', the Eyo Masquerades defied the rain to hold their festival, marking the state's 50th celebration.

Rain is a normal thing on most of the Eyo festival I have witness. Most Lagosian can testify to this, but on Akinolu's case the King need to apologize as soon as possible, because hmmmm I reserve my comment
