Ever so often I see or read of "religious" people who take it upon themselves to shove their beliefs down the throats of unbelievers. Is it that their God is incapable of enforcing His rules? Or is it that the "believers" do not know the power of their God? Or is it that these "believers" after a time become gods?

Because they are not even sure if they will make Heaven, because of the story of Eli in the Bible.

@ Originalsly, it depends on what you call shove, it's the duty of every believer to pass the Good News (Gospel) to unbelievers, it's left to you to prove their claim by going through the Bible(after praying for understanding), especially the new testament (just the same way you read books to get knowledge in other areas of life) & make the right choice (The Way, The Truth & The Life). Though some believers can be overzealous in their approach, you should see it just as some of your colleagues at work or in business can be too officious.

As you read the Bible to have a first hand experience (you should not be afraid to do so), pray to God to give you the HolySpirit, He is the one that will teach you all things.

Cheers!
