Jose Mourinho takes Manchester United to face Huddersfield Town on Saturday looking to rediscover the Red Devils' attacking edge in the Premier League.

United fell two points behind rivals Manchester City last weekend, with Pep Guardiola's side thrashing Stoke 7-2 following the Red Devils' uninspiring 0-0 draw at Liverpool.

Mourinho came under criticism for a defensive display at Anfield, and will be under pressure to deliver another display of counter-attacking might that United fans have become used to this season.

David Wagner's Huddersfield are winless in their last five games, but a bright start to the season sees them sitting 12th in the table - and a real threat to United.

Team news
Marcus Rashford was a casualty from United's 1-0 win away at Benfica, the young striker now a doubt for the weekend with a knee injury.

Phil Jones missed the midweek trip, with Victor Lindelof drafted in meaning the summer signing could make his first Premier League start this weekend.

The game will come too soon for Marouane Fellaini, and likely for Eric Bailly too. Paul Pogba could return next week.

Huddersfield will hope Stevie Mounie overcomes a heel injury in time to face United, with Colin Quaner also facing a late fitness test.

Elsewhere, Kasey Palmer and Michael Hefele are out for a further month and Philip Billing has recently been sidelined with an ankle complaint.

Predicted line-ups
Huddersfield starting XI: Lossl; Smith, Zanka, Schindler, Malone; Hogg, Williams; Kachunga, Ince, Van La Parra; Depoitre

Man United starting XI: De Gea; Valencia, Smalling, Lindelof, Darmian; Herrera, Matic; Young, Mkhitaryan, Martial; Lukaku
