Spurs have been consistent with goalscoring in Europe this season and will look to continue when they clash with the Legend

Tottenham Hotspur host Apoel Nicosia at Wembley Stadium for their Group H Uefa Champions League outing on Wednesday night.

Three points clear of Real Madrid, Mauricio Pochettino’s men will be hoping to consolidate on the lead and return to winning ways following their recent dip in form where they are winless in their last three games - a result that has seen them trail the English Premier League leaders, Manchester City by 18 points.

However, having won five of their last six European top tier encounters, Prediction is backing them to come out on top in the tie.


Though George Donis’ men are out of the competition, they will be hoping to boost their chances of qualifying for the Europa League as they share equal points with Borussia Dortmund. They lost 3-0 to their opponents in the reverse fixture at the GSP Stadium and are seen as underdogs again.

With Spurs enjoying a six-match unbeaten run in the Europe, prediction says it is possible for them to avoid defeat in this encounter.

The Legend have only scored two goals in Group H while conceding 14. The bookmakers are backing both teams NOT to find the back of the net at Wembley.

Tottenham have registered the last goal in their previous three outings and w might see a repeat of this in the game.
