Three traditional rulers from Kwara State were equally at the palace of the Alaafin to express their support.
The lawmakers, suspended for attempting to initiate the removal of the Speaker of the House Olawale Atilola, equally used the visit to ask the king for support in their struggle in the state legislature.
Having accused Mr Atilola of frustrating efforts to investigate an allegation of fraud against state governor, Adebayo Alao-Akala, the lawmakers moved to get the speaker impeached on Tuesday, June 8, 2010.
