Hmm...well, I believe that the research was done outside of Nigeria because there is not one Igbo person I know in Nigeria who doesn't know how to speak the language. It's when you move out of the homeland and abroad, that's where we encounter problems because English is spoken both outside and inside of the home. Parents have a lot of work to do to help correct this.
