The Imo state governor, Hope Uzodinma, has alleged that Igbo leaders in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) are at the forefront of a plot to topple the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari.
Uzodinma made the accusation when reacting to the protests by the PDP over the Supreme Court judgment which nullified the election of Emeka Ihedioha, The Sun reports.
The Imo state governor said he has noticed that Igbo leaders were at the forefront of the PDP protests staged in Abuja against the Supreme Court, noting that leaders from other parts of the country did not take part in the demonstrations.

He described the protests against the Supreme Court as a disguise to overthrow the federal government and regretted that Igbo leaders are allowing themselves to be used for such an agenda, thereby endangering the lives of innocent Igbos all over the country.
The protests is a script; a veiled version of Revolution Now agenda, to topple the Federal Government and it is unfortunate that Igbo leaders are wittingly and unwittingly lending themselves to the actualisation of this perfidious agenda, thereby making themselves willing sacrificial lambs and also endangering the lives of innocent Igbo all over the country,” Uzodinma said.
