Hmmmmmmm yes support the wedding but not brideprice.
Remember her participation for the brideprice is only known between her & the guy!

It is not good for a woman to pay for her bride price. There will be no respect for the man as a husband, it will means that the has now becomes the husband and the he will never have any say in that marriage. but I believe that in some countries women do pay for their husband bride price but how true it is is what I do not know.
I live in America and here the tradition is that the father of the bride pays for the wedding, But all fathers cant afford so it is common for both bride and groom to contribute to wedding expenses. It is also common for women to have higher income than the man, so the man is not expected to carry such a load alone. Here Marriage is viewed as a partnership and it is ok for both to contribute equally. No one will ever know who paid what except the bride and groom anyway.

wat am saying is that it is not an African tradition
An african tradition states that a man goes to marry a woman and pay her bride price

Before i believe the woman should assist the man with any other things but not the bride price bc the man may tell you 2morrow that he was not ready but u forced him.

But in a situation whereby the woman is desperate, age is not also on her side and the man really wants to settle down with her but have no money. Giving her man money to pay the bride price should't be a problem since she needs this marriage more than the man.
