you are very correct and that is the kind of life style they live in the western nigeria,where a little gets pregnant for a guy and the next thing is that they are living together and they are automatically called husband and wife. oko ati iyawo. the truth is that the girl just got got pregnant for the guy and even as an under age the parents still allow her to live a with a jobless guy that can not even afford to feed their daughter. a man is only supposed to live with a woman as a husband wife when both of them are matured mentally and have come of age  too to do that. a man and woman must have grown to a full adult age and must as well have the hunger to get married and be ready too to take the responsibility that accompanies marriage before venturing into marriage because that is the only way they can cope with whatever situation they find themselves and stay together without quarrels. a man can only take good care of woman that he got when is ready to settle down and atleast payed bride price,and when he already have the desire and hunger to live with a woman. there is too many careless and irresponsible parents in that area. it is still in that area that you see a man who is married but is still living in his wife s parents or family house, some even live apart within  the same street and they are called husband and wife. some girls would even have as much as 3 to 4 kids for a guy but still living with her own parents where the guys come to get her pregnant every now and then,and yet they are called husband and wife. some even married men keeps many woman outside their matrimonial homes and they are still called his his wife without any form of formal marriage between them. what a shame?. {oko ati iyawo} ,then one wonders what makes them husband and wife.  it is their culture and i am not against it but they should try and make a distinction between married couple,concubine,sex mate and two people being in a relationship. now the only child of the parent is dead and the untrained stupid girl is going to jail .

It's all about parental guidance before and during marriage, underage for that matter, how old was the late husband too. What a tragedy. let's learn form this sha!
