Summary
L-carnitine is one type of biostearin - the body's essential nutrients, and is also known as vitamin BT. In adult body tissues, it contains approximately 20g of L-carnitine, mainly in tissues of skeletal muscle, heart muscle, liver, testis and other organs. In heart muscle, it accounts for the highest content of L-carnitine and in muscles the content is high as well. The physical function of L-carnitine is to promote fat transfer into energy. For normal human being, the daily activity consumes at least 400 mg.
Obesity is mainly caused by fat accumulation. Elimination of fat is the fundamental for weight reduction. The metabolism of fat is to go through a screen; at outer surface of the screen are mitochondria responsible for burning fat and transferring into energy for body’s consumption. If fat cells cannot pass through the screen, then subsequently the fat cannot enter into mitochondria, and finally fat cannot be consumed no matter how much you exercise or go on diet.
L-carnitine, as a carrier of fatty acid transport, is capable of transferring large fatty acid from outer place of mitochondrial membrane into intra-membrane place, promoting decomposition oxidation of fatty acid in mitochondria to burn fat and produce energy.
L-carnitine is a necessary coenzyme for fat metabolism just like shoveling up the fat from fork lift truck and putting into burning stove.
Function:
1. Promote fat transfer into energy and improve fat transfer efficiency in mitochondria;
2. Effectively lower cholesterol and triglyceride, burn fat; enhance fat oxidation capacity of myocardial cells to reduce myocardial burden;
3. Promote metabolism of pyroracemic acid, reduce accumulation of lactic acid in muscle cells and relieve fatigue;
4. Prevent oxidation of human cells by lipid peroxides produced by human body to slow cell senescence and delay aging
5. Enhance fat working efficiency for human body and muscle to reduce fat accumulation.
Safety Weight loss index
1) Weight loss should not be more than 2 pounds per week;
2) Weight loss declined along with body girth (or fat rate) ;
3) Guarantee intake of calories meet minimum daily energy requirement for the body;
4) Guarantee the diet nutritionally balanced (adequate protein, elemental meat and dietary fiber, low sugar and starch) and meet the nutritional needs for suitable exercise;
5) Suitable quantity of exercise; Not too small(No effect) or too large(too much burden on body);
6) Good sleeping
7) Maintain good mentality and relaxing mood.
