On the last day of 2021, Grammy winner Burna Boy hopped on social media to partially squash his beef with Davido.
According to Burna Boy, he has no issues with Davido contrary to what social media users think. He admitted at first they had problems, but they have finally figured it out.
He further added that all artists including Wizkid must find a way to love themselves 2022 or they might as well kill each other.
Reacting to Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale’s earlier comments, Burna Boy remarked that it was a lie and even proposed a 1-on-1 fight with anyone who had personal issues with him. He shared this via his Instagram stories on Friday, the 31st of December 2021.
Recall, during his recent stadium concert in Ghana, Shatta Wale addressing the crowd accused Nigerian artists of trying to prove they were bigger than everyone. In the same vein, he also called for a boycott of Nigerian music in Ghana. On his part, Stonebwoy released a statement that saw him basically disagreeing with Shatta Wale but also reinforcing his point that Nigerian artists do not help their African counterparts.
Responding to Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale’s recent comments, Burna Boy refuted all the claims calling it all a lie. In his words;
“Plenty talk, na lie lie full inside. If you never helped anyone that you couldn’t gain from. If you can’t name 1 person that came from under you and you didn’t end up your enemy. You can’t cry for help and feel entitled to it…”
