They just wanted to add you to statistics. It's not genuine marriage but you're just a badge of honour.
It stemmed from the fact, in the past, white women always go for black men. They love to be seen with black guy on the street. Also love to produce mixed race children.  Their men are so bitter about this and were looking for way of revenging this. Their women were making them inferior to black men.
These white men resorted to avenge this by coming to black women to fool them and lure them to bed to add them to statistics.
They have a saying in their community  "Have you tasted a black woman's private part before?"
Black women being so fake, guillible and suffer from complex would jump at the chance of dating a white man.
Hence reason white low life carpenters,  fish mongers, bricklayers, grave diggers, dustmen would come to Africa and pretend to be someone important and before you could say Jack Robinson,  black women would throw themselves at these white men.
That's the reason there are so many divorces here and there now.
They've completed their mission of adding them to their statistics.
These white men would insult them at the face of any slightest act of provocation. "You black bastard, I'll send you back to your African dungeon where I picked you up" "I did you a favour by taking you away from Africa, you should worship me by kissing my feet every morning"

The comment I got here shows how ignorant many men who are still boys are. What is the statistic of woemn who are ready for marriage in Nigeria but got no husband? Not that men are not on the streets, but are they ready to make a family the way their parents were? Husband can come from anywhere and in this example, this lady has kept her marriage for several years...stop being stupid by judging other people who want to leave their marriage!
