Man Beat His Girlfriend to Death Over Minor Disagreement in Bayelsa

A man said to be in his 30s identified as Arepamowei Koru in Ogobiri community in Sagbama LGA of Bayelsa State has beaten his 22-year-old girlfriend, Toma Serve-God Angolo, to death.

The two lovers were said to be cohabiting in the man’s community before the incident occurred on Tuesday.

Residents revealed that the two lovers had been staying together without any quarrel before a minor disagreement on Tuesday that led to the fatal fight.

Police spokesman in Bayelsa State, SP Asinim Butswat, confirmed the incident, saying the suspect had been arrested.
