The 650,000 barrels per day (BPD) Dangote Oil Refinery, which President Muhammadu Buhari would inaugurate tomorrow, is expected to meet 100 percent of Nigeria’s demand for all refined products.

The Refinery sits on land more than 3X the size of Victoria Island, has its own dedicated Port that can handle biggest vessels in the world together with its own Power Plant; 435MW.

Dangote Refinery reportedly has the world’s largest granite quarry, built to supply the Refinery construction (10m Tonnes p/a capacity)

NNPC Limited has promised to supply 300,000 barrels of crude for the commencement of operations.

shame on Nigerian kleptocracy government. four of the Nigerian refineries has been undergoing turn around maintenance without no head way, now a single man is commissioning the largest refinery in Africa, if not in the world.
